The Lord Chamberlain Hon. Fielakepa received gifts from the International Soroban on behalf of the King. Meiko Sakuma, the Executive Managing Director of International Soroban and Tongan Minister of Education presented the gifts in Tonga to be conveyed to Auckland, New Zealand.

The gifts were presented by 18 teachers and 26 pupils including a letter by the Governor of Tokyo, Shintaro Ishihara to the Lord Chamberlain in Auckland on 7 August 2006

The King of Tonga was warmed to have received the gifts from International Soroban.
